King Khalid International Airport:
King Khalid International Airport was opened on Safar 12 1404H corresponding to November 26, 1983. It is the gateway to the capital of Saudi Arabia and its heartland. It has been constructed to meet the increasing international and local air transport demands for Riyadh region.

Location:
King Khalid International Airport matches the civilization environment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its location minimizes sound and air pollution, and it also protects the capital from air risks. It is a masterpiece of modern architecture, blending traditional Arab design with the requirements of efficiency, and incorporating into the whole the essential Islamic character of the Kingdom.

Area:
King Khalid International Airport covers a land area of 225 square klms. This area houses all the airport main facilities and installations including the terminals, air cargo building, Post Office, Private Aviation, mosque, the control tower and two parallel runways each 4200 meters long in addition to the crafts parking areas.

Utilities:
The support buildings in King Khalid International Airport include the Central Administration Complex, Public Safety Complex, Public Safety Complex, Main Fire Station, Two sub-Fire Stations, Communication Building, Metrology Department, Catering Section, Land Equipment Maintenance Workshops, Utilities Maintenance Complex and the Housing Complex for both families and bachelors personnel of the airport.

King Abdul Aziz International Airport:
It was the first airport constructed as part of the various programs set by the Saudi government to develop the kingdom international airports.

Opening:
King Abdul Aziz International Airport was officially opened in Jumada 2nd 1401H corresponding to April 1981.

Locations:
King Abdul Aziz International Airport is located 19 klms to the north of the city of Jeddah, the main gateway of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its biggest commercial centre.

Area:
King Abdul Aziz International airport covers a land area of 105 square klms. This area houses all the airport main facilities and installations in addition to the installations of the Saudi Royal Air Forces in the Western Region, and areas reserved for future extensions.
Capacity:
It is expected that King Abdul Aziz International Airport will serve up to 15 millions passengers by the year 2010, including hundred thousands of the pilgrims who travel by air to the kingdom every year to perform Hajj.

Prince Mohammed Ibn Abdul Aziz Airport in Madina:
Prince Mohammed Ibn Abdul Aziz Airport is located in Madina, it is considered as one of the Kingdom most important gateways as it is serving Madina Region which has a great significance as it contains the Prophet Mosque.

The airport receives many international flights besides it is a part of the domestic air transport network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The airport rush seasons come when teachers start to travel from and to Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The most crowded season for the airport is the Hajj season as many extra flights coming from the Arabian Gulf are handled through this airport.

The airport was opened in 1394 and has witnessed many developments since then, the departure lounge can accommodate up to five flights passengers at a time. The arrival lounge was expanded by 45% to become 1120 square meter in addition to independent installations for international flights, new lounge for VIP Passengers. The airport serves 20-25 flight per day through two runways of 3850 metre and 3050 meter long, the crafts parking area cover 95226 square meters. We also find the Royal Lounge covering 1000 square meter, it was built before two years using teak wood, Saudi marbles and locally made furniture. We also find the airport mosque covering 1771 square meters, car parking area which accommodates up to 1200 car, water desalination stations, Electricity generation station and workshops equipped with all equipments.
