Hajj Research Center
Since the time it was honored to serve the two holy mosques, the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been very keen to utilize all state systems and potentials to serve the Guests of Rahman and to facilitate their performing of Hajj.
It was very important to increase potentials in order meet the upcoming issues of Hajj and its services, to become acquainted with its problems and to present answers in a pre-planned and scientific way.
The Hajj Research Center started its activities as a research unit of the King Abdel Aziz University in Jeddah in 1395, during its early years, the Hajj Research Center focused on collecting information and detailed knowledge about the different areas of Hajj and pilgrims and the utilities related to them so as to form a complete and a clear image of the prevailing situations, and hence develop its positives and eliminate its negatives.
In 1401 H, the Council of Ministers issued a resolution endorsing the establishment of Hajj Research Center to act as a technical consultative body for the Supreme Hajj Committee and other authorities related to Hajj.
